Workshop on Bank Recovery and Resolution Planning in Malaysia

PIDM recently sponsored the first virtual workshop for the banking industry as part of its inaugural collaboration with the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers. The workshop, titled 'Bank Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) Virtual Learning Session', saw close to 100 participants attending the four-day session from 1 to 4 September 2020. Participants gained knowledge from the speaker, Kavita Kumar Berns, an expert on RRP from the UK. Using interactive activites and case studies, Kavita spoke about the key requirements for RRP implementation, the tools and techniques that could be used to build, review and understand recovery and resolution plans, and RRP implications for financial institutions. We thank AICB for the collaboration and we hope our participants had fruitful learning session.
